Solo exhibition in Things That Can Happen

Following my residency in February 2017, I sealed myself into the galleries of the art space ‘Things that can happen’ for eighteen days in April and May of the same year. Thus limiting the space for my daily habits and routines to the boundaries of the rooms, cutting myself off from our mediatized world, engaging only with the energies, shadows and voices that the site forced upon me. Being ‘an obsessive observer of my internal state’, the domineering confines of ‘Things that can happen’ called new demons to the surface only to make way for new experiences of myself and the world around me. At the end of the eighteen days a simple ‘rite of passage’ was held, to mark my return to the outside world. What I left behind in the art space was exhibited for a month.
